What to do With Your “All American Pet Photo Day” Pictures

Animals are arguably man’s best friends. Who doesn’t love their fuzzy hugs, sloppy kisses, or perfectly-timed snuggles when you’re feeling blue. Animals just seem to bring out the best in people.

All American Pet Photo Day, held on July 11 every year, is a day dedicated to these lovable furballs who make life better every single day with their hilarious innocent antics. On July 11, pets all around the nation get to enjoy the limelight. People upload photos of their pets on social media. Photos can be seen of pets dressed up, being goofy, eating treats, lounging with their owner, etc. So join in on the fun and photograph your fur babies for the world to see.

*Note - While taking photos, remember to keep your pet safe and comfortable. Don’t let your pet become overheated or over-anxious. If your pet is stressed, they may not take good photos. Listen to your pet’s temperament, toss out the costumes, and accept the blurred selfie.

If photographs are not your scene, you can also honor pets in your own way. Maybe you’d like to take your pet to the beach, feed them a dog cake, or maybe just play your pet's favorite game. Just take a little bit of time out of your day to spend with your pet, and let them know they are appreciated and loved. Pets don’t live forever, but their memory in your heart does. Different Ways To Use Your Photos

What good are photos if they just stay stored on a USB or computer? Print those puppies out and let them tug those smiles from your heart every time you see them.

• Post The Photos Online using #AllAmericanPetPhotoDay. Then enjoy looking at other people’s pet photos as well! It's sure to bring a smile to your face and spread the love of animals.

• Maybe publishing them online isn’t your thing. You could privately share photos with friends and family. You could create a shared album on Google Photos. All you have to do is add all of the photos to the album, and then invite your entire family to view them via an email link. From there, they can like or comment on each picture. There are also plenty of apps dedicated to private photo sharing like Tinybeans, FamilyAlbum, and 23snaps.

• Frame the Photos. You can choose your favorites to print and frame. Then hang them up on the wall or above your pet’s bed. If you are digging through your photos and find pictures of dearly departed pets, then consider framing them a customizable memorial picture frame. 

• Create A Collage. If you have too many photos to pick just a few favorites, then consider creating a collage. You could print out all your photos and glue them onto a giant canvas or pin them to a cork board. There are different online collage makers which you print from, like PhotoCollage, Canva, or BeFunky.

• Scrapbook Them - Consider filling a scrapbook with your most adorable pet photos.
